Freefly Systems Wins 2014 Cine Gear Expo New Technology Award

Woodinville, Washington. July 16, 2014—Freefly Systems MōVI stabilizers have taken the cinema and video production markets by storm, providing a way for cameras to capture incredibly stable footage handheld and on a variety of shooting platforms. The breakthrough features of Freefly’s new MōVI M15 stabilizer captured the 2014 Cine Gear Expo New Technology Award for Camera Support.

Freefly showed its range of stabilizers to the Hollywood community at the Cine Gear Expo in June, held on the back lot at Paramount Studios. The MōVI M15 stabilizers are designed with professional cinematographers in mind, to accommodate larger cameras like the Sony F55 and ARRI Alexa M. Additionally, the MōVI M15 is intended to be used in either normal or inverted mode, which allows for easy integration onto a variety of platforms such as Steadicam, Tero, car and motorcycle mounts. The MōVI M15 draws on the experience Freefly gained in creating the M10 and allows for an even wider range of camera/lens combinations.
