BB&S Earns Awards at IBC 2016
Brother, Brother and Sons (BB&S) garnered Best of Show Awards from TV Technology and TVB Europe magazines at the 2015 IBC Exhibition for the company’s new technology Pipeline professional motion picture and television lighting equipment.
The Pipeline LED System is an expandable array of modular, cylindrical fixtures, customizable in configuration to suit specific requirements. These totally new form-factor, 1-inch diameter LED lights are available in lengths of 1’, 2’, 3’ and 4’ (305mm, 610mm, 914mm and 1219mm). Offering the many benefits of Remote Phosphor’s light quality and consistency, they provide the highest possible color fidelity. Whether installed in a multi-lamp reflector bank (1, 2 or 4 Pipes), or deployed in a single reflector, Pipelines provide extremely pleasing output for modeling faces and illuminating backgrounds.
Specializing in the television and broadcast industry, TV Technology and TVB Europe feature technology news and reviews. Their Best of IBC Show Awards are judged by a panel of engineers and industry experts on the criteria of innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. Only a small number of products were selected to receive a Best of Show Award from among hundreds of new products in the competitions.
At the Amsterdam IBC show, BB&S also showcased a new Area 48 Studio, made especially to facilitate extremely smooth dimming in the last 5% of the range. Also displayed was the LED Flyer portable boom light, the new Ledheimer LED PAR in daylight and tungsten balance, the 5600K and 3200K Force V LED Ellipsoidals, and new accessories for Area 48 Soft lights were introduced.
