K-Tek, makers of award-winning boom poles, microphone support products and accessories introduces a new longer boom pole kit case made to transport and protect K-Tek and other boom poles which collapse to 52” long and under.

 

 

 

 

The durable new KBLT52 features a smart clamshell-style design and 3-layer structural foam for lightweight durability. Featuring wrap-around heavy-duty dual zippers, the travel case fully opens to reveal a soft grey interior. Inside is a removable, padded nylon zippered pouch that is ideal for a shock mount and, microphone.  Three fabric straps on the inside floor let the user secure a fully collapsed boom pole. Additional straps handily secure cables, headphones and other accessories.

The KBLT52 offers a padded handle and an adjustable shoulder strap and comes in black with blue trim. At just 7 pounds (3 kg) and measuring 54.8” by 8.2” by 6” (139 by 21 x 15cm) it’s an easy addition to any boom operator’s kit.

K-Tek also offers the smaller KBLT35 Case which weighs a mere 2.5 pounds (40 oz) and measures 35.5” by 8.8” by 6” to fit shorter length boom poles.
