Pricing and Availability of 500 Series Announced

Cary, North Carolina: April 10, 2015—SmallHD, pioneers of compact, HD field monitors and accessories, announces pricing and delivery for the new 502 Full HD 5-inch on-camera monitor and the Sidefinder electronic viewfinder/monitor combo.

Now shipping, the first of SmallHD’s new 500 Series, the 502 monitor, premieres with an MSRP of $1,199. Amazingly compact, the 502 provides a dense, 441 pixels per inch display, more than iPhone 6/6+. With a screen brightness of 400 nits, the 502’s display is visible in full sunlight, and its 1500:1 contrast ratio delivers superior image quality. This new monitor includes the extensive feature set for which SmallHD is famous, and can be powered off rechargeable Canon LP-E6 batteries, D-tap, or AC adapter.

SmallHD’s revolutionary Sidefinder electronic viewfinder/monitor combo begins shipping this summer at an MSRP of $1,499. This full-featured HD viewing system with a 1080p 5-inch flip-out display is both the highest resolution viewfinder and the highest resolution 5-inch on camera monitor on the market. The system includes the 502 monitor, viewfinder loupe, and wireless remote control.
