SmallHD Spring Sale on 500 Series Monitors and EVF
Just in time for NAB, SmallHD announces a Special Sale on the popular 501 and 502 5-inch field monitors and Sidefinder EVF. Effective immediately, this special pricing is available through the end of April 2017. For the first time 500 Series Monitors are available for as low as $749. Those looking for the top of the line 502 Monitor and the EVF can enjoy $500 off a package that includes the 502 5-inch Full HD Monitor with Sidefinder Viewfinder, Wireless Remote, Medium Hard Case and Mounting Kit.
The 500 Series monitors include the 502, with both HDMI and SDI inputs and outputs, and the 501 with only HDMI inputs and outputs. These slim-line 1920×1080 monitors feature a dense, 441 pixels per inch display and a screen brightness of 400 nits. All SmallHD monitors feature the Page Builder operating system and an extensive toolset including exposure and focus assist, waveform and vectorscope, as well as the ability to apply 3D LUTs to raw video so that onset viewers can get a preview of the image “look” after post-production colorization. The monitors power via rechargeable Canon LP-E6 batteries, D-tap, or AC adapter.
The Sidefinder is also included in the Special. The union between the SmallHD 501 or 502 field monitor and a specialized EVF loupe, the Sidefinder works seamlessly as both a feature-rich professional 5-inch field monitor and a top-of-the-line HD viewfinder. Its ample screen provides more than double the viewing area of other combination systems.
Accessories such as a pan and tilt camera shoe mount and EVF Mounting kit are also on sale.
